Fairfax, VA – July 18, 2016. ICS Nett (ICS) is proud to announce that it is now a Corporate Member of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). HIMSS is a global, cause-based, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT).
This membership comes after years of experience in the Health IT sector for ICS. For over five years, ICS has served the Military TRICARE services community and DHHQ to provide IT Operational and Maintenance support services for the day-to-day operations of three Defense Health Agency (DHA) data centers. Currently, ICS supports the Military Health Systems (MHS) Development and Test Center (DTC); the USAMITC Development, Test, and Evaluation Lab (DT&E); and the DHA Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) Branch Infrastructure Test Center (ITC). ICS maintains control of the servers, storage, network, and appliance devices, which host over 200 customer Military Health applications (DHA and Army), 300 environments, and over 4,500 virtualized systems, including numerous software development and test systems that support multiple Military Health System Electronic Health Record (EHR) application development and sustainment activities.
In addition, ICS provides database support and extensive cyber security and Information Assurance (IA) services. IA services include the management of all ATO and accreditation, STIG/POA&M management, patch monitoring/implementation, intrusion monitoring/response, anti-virus, identity and access management, and other related cyber security activities.
