Fairfax, VA – May 25, 2016. Virginia-based IT firm ICS Nett, Inc. (ICS) recently relocated its headquarters to Fairfax, directly across from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Dunn Loring Metro station. ICS has grown to a mid-sized business in recent years and continues to expand its business in terms of staff and workload. “The challenges of the next few years have required changes in our staffing and location,” said Board Chairman Khurram Shah. “Having long since outgrown our former home, this move was not only sensible, but necessary.”
The company previously occupied its offices at Metro Plaza in Vienna, VA. The new state-of-the-art space is three-fold larger and houses all operations for the firm. The latest location strengthens an already healthy relationship with WMATA due to the close proximity to the Metro. The WMATA SmarTrip® Call Center services and support help desk, one of the most prominent contracts awarded to ICS in 2014, was already based in the new Prosperity Avenue location, so it was logical that the company headquarters followed suit.
“This move signals the next step in our company’s evolution and growth,” said CEO John Alexander, “the better to meet our increased contract load and customer base.” Alexander further noted “since the move was initiated, ICS has added substantial contract wins, focused on IDIQ’s that are task based, and core contracts for services and products in Americas and in foreign efforts.”
