The outcome of ICS Nett’s delivery to DHA was the breakthrough innovation in identification of “signatures” for injuries. ICS Nett successfully migrated the data center infrastructure and customer computing platforms from a 100% physical hosting infrastructure to a 95% virtualized environment within 4 years resulting in Government cost-savings, sustainability and energy efficiency. We delivered optimal results for the DARPA Triage Challenge (DTC), which included design and implementation of VDI and a private cloud infrastructure which enabled the development and testing environments to be rapidly built and reconfigured by the end-users themselves via a self-service portal.
ICS Nett fully understood DHA’s challenges of processes of data integration for published national standard terminologies on multiple domains. This was only a small piece of an emerging data science for DHA’s core sustainability. To support DHA’s commitment to medical excellence, ICS Nett’s mission encompassed a wide range of support from Architecture, Advanced Concepts and Engineering (AACE) for existing technologies and provided support for cloud and newer emerging technologies. ICS Nett delivered DHA’s demands for a high degree of expertise in evaluations, migrations, along with managing various environments within scope of the data center management activities. With ICS Nett’s proven record providing excellence in health care systems, lab management, testing and evaluation (T&E) support services, ICS Nett successfully helped to deliver today’s medical excellences for almost 140,000 civilians and military personnel.

This process currently helps medical professionals to triage in a timely and scalable way for civilians, the military and even mass casualties. ICS Nett delivered optimal results for the DARPA Triage Challenge (DTC), which included design and implementation of VDI and a private cloud infrastructure which enabled the development and testing environments to be rapidly built and reconfigured by the end-users themselves via a self-service portal. ICS Nett successfully virtualized 95% of the physical environments at the DTC, which in turn facilitates application developers’ ability to port over legacy Healthcare systems to virtualized computing platforms.
ICS was also directly responsible for achieving the issuance and maintaining the DTC Authorization to Operate (ATO), encompassing direct management of all applicable processes, system configurations and required documentation. Once ICS took over management control of the USAMITC Lab, ICS immediately implemented a rigorous change control methodology, processes, and policies that significantly increased the uptime and availability of the DT&E lab, thus eliminating the previous daily disruptions to the customer environments. ICS Nett also pioneered the ITC through the processes, controls, and artifacts associated with the new RMF type ATO, which are used as a model for all future RMF ATO packages throughout the greater DHA community.
